We have recently had cause for concern regarding the effectiveness of Healthwatch Blackburn with Darwen and Healthwatch Lancashire. What are your experiences and do you understand how Healthwatch works and what it does?1 comment
I’m not sure how Health watch works but I am concerned about the fact that Cash (contraceptive and sexual health) are advertising that they have an improved service and then I find that sexual health clinics for young people have virtually disappeared, Until recently young people in Ribble Valley have been able to access Step in Clinic at Clitheroe HC this service has terminated and the nearest clinic means a trip to either Accrington or Burnley, How can this be an improvement and how can teenagers access this service confidentially
